MY STORY.
Show up. Do the work. Become better.
I'm Kimberly, and I believe becoming better starts with something simple: showing up.
My journey in fitness began in 2019 as a Group Fitness Instructor at LA Fitness. What started as teaching workouts quickly became something much bigger. I discovered that movement could be a doorway into confidence, discipline, community, and a healthier life.
I LEARNED TO COACH PEOPLE, NOT JUST WORKOUTS.
I later became a Lead Coach at iLoveKickboxing, where I worked with women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who were ready to create healthier habits and change the way they showed up for themselves.
Through accountability coaching, fitness, and the fundamentals of nutrition, I watched women become stronger—not just physically, but in the way they approached their lives.
That experience taught me that fitness isn't just about what happens during the hour you spend exercising. It's about what you choose to do with the other 23 hours.
I WAS AN ATHLETE BEFORE I BECAME A COACH.
During my college years, I played rugby for the UCF Knights. Being an athlete taught me discipline, teamwork, resilience, and what it means to keep showing up when things get hard.
In 2021, I began competing in bodybuilding.
I nationally qualified through all three of my shows and earned an award at each one. But the biggest thing bodybuilding gave me wasn't a trophy.
It gave me perspective.
“You can do everything right and still have someone show up better than you.”
And that's okay.
You accept it.
You learn from it.
You get back to work.
You show up again.
You work toward showing up better than you did before.
That mindset became part of how I approach everything.
MY PRACTICE CONTINUES TO EVOLVE.
Fitness has never been one thing for me.
My practice has expanded into yoga and Pilates, allowing me to understand movement from a different perspective.
I completed my 500-hour yoga training through Warrior One Yoga under the leadership of Kimber King through Alliance-accredited training. I also studied Pilates through The Pilates Plug Program under Johanna Ricouz.
These practices taught me that strength isn't always about pushing harder.
Sometimes strength means slowing down.
Breathing.
Creating space.
Listening.
Knowing when to push—and knowing when to pause.
WHY LEMON DROP Co. ?
Outside of fitness, I serve as a Doctor of Operations working alongside the working-class communities of Central Florida.
That work has given me an even deeper understanding of the people I want to serve.
People have jobs.
Families.
Responsibilities.
Stress.
Bills.
Full lives.
Health and wellness don't exist in a vacuum.
I don't believe you have to completely change your life to become healthier. I believe your wellness should be able to exist within your life.
That's what I want Lemon Drop Co. to be.
A place where you can show up exactly as you are, do the work in front of you, and leave a little stronger, a little more grounded, and a little more connected to yourself.
My mission is to share the Lemon Drop message with anyone who needs it. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to show up. Show up where you are. Do the work in front of you. Learn. Adjust. Keep going. And then show up better. BE THE SQUEEZE.
BE THE SQUEEZE.
